Masterton Pile Testing – Wairarapa, NZ

The Masterton Solar Farm is a proposed 100 MW solar and battery storage project located 6 km southwest of Masterton, NZ, expected to power around 35,000 homes. It will include 160,000 solar panels across 147 hectares, with provisions for livestock grazing and a 100 MW/200–400 MWh battery system.

Kowhai Solar Farm – Christchurch, NZ

The Kōwhai Park Solar Farm is a significant renewable energy project under construction adjacent to Christchurch Airport in New Zealand. Once completed, it will be one of the country’s largest solar farms, with a capacity of 170 MWdc (150 MWac), generating approximately 275–290 GWh of electricity annually, enough to power around 36,000 homes.

Pukenui Solar Farm – North Island, NZ

The Pukenui Solar Farm is a 20.8 MW project in New Zealand’s Far North, set to power around 2,000 homes when it begins operation in early 2025. It spans 17 hectares with 35,000 panels and will offset emissions equal to removing 1,635 cars annually. The project includes sustainable land use plans such as sheep grazing beneath the panels.

Lord Howe Island, NSW

The Lord Howe Island Hybrid Renewable Energy Project, completed in April 2021, features a 1.3 MW solar PV array and a 3.7 MWh Tesla battery system, significantly reducing the island’s reliance on diesel generators. This initiative supplies over 67% of the island’s electricity needs, saving approximately $1.55 million in diesel fuel costs over its first two years of operation
